AHEAD OF THE INTERVIEW
- Learn about Nasstar and the role by using our company website and tools like LinkedIn. (Your Talent Acquisition (TA) partner should have also given you a copy of our candidate pack)
- Find out about the Hiring Team as you might have shared roles/colleagues in the past.
- Understand our Industry: Keep up with industry trends and challenges, be ready to talk about how your skills match industry needs.
- Be ready to give specific examples from your background, education, or skills that are relevant to the job. Use the role description as a guide.
- Prepare for Common Interview Questions: Practice answers to common interview questions. Be ready to talk about your strengths, weaknesses, and examples of your problem-solving skills.
- Make sure you are happy with the salary on offer for the role and have looked into logistics if the role requires travel. Your TA partner will go through all this with you at the submission stage.
- Review Your CV. Be ready to talk about your work experience, skills, and achievements.
- Expect questions about any gaps in your work history.
- Prepare 4-5 relevant questions for the interviewer that focus on the company’s values and goals.
- Practice Non-Verbal Communication: Eye contact and positive body language. Be aware of your posture and gestures during the interview.
- Dress Professionally: Wear professional clothing that is suitable for the company culture whether it a video or face to face interview (Always ask your TA partner about the dress code as it may vary from office to office and team to team)

AT THE INTERVIEW
- Be ready to give clear and brief answers with specific examples about your previous experiences, skills, and abilities that are relevant to the position or Nasstar`s goals. Highlight your achievements that relate to the role where you can.
- Explain your career goals and how they match the position.
- One of our core values is teamwork so speak positively/constructively about former managers, colleagues, or employers.
- Use your pre-prepared, well-planned questions to find out if Nasstar and this role suit you.
- You need to focus on this conversation, so switch off your mobile phone and avoid any interruptions.

INTERVIEWS AT NASSTAR AND HOW TO PREPARE
- Video/Screening Interview-The most frequent interview method at Nasstar, done through Teams.
- Choose a place with minimal distractions and noise in advance. Check your internet connection before the interview to prevent any problems joining on time.
- Make sure that your background is not too busy (e.g., white, or plain wall is ideal)
- You can join the meeting link a short time before the meeting starts. There will be a virtual waiting room from which your interviewer will accept you into the meeting space. We recommend a few minutes before the meeting is due to begin.
- In Person Interview-Rarer but still used for some interviews at Nasstar (Your TA partner will let you know at the beginning of the process)
- Be Early: Try to get there 10-15 minutes before the interview time. Plan for extra time in case of delays.
- Keep Good Body Language: Give a firm handshake, make eye contact, and smile. Sit up straight and show positive body language during the interview.
